As instruments well tun'd and strung,
We'll praise the Lord with heart and tongue;
While life remains we'll loud proclaim
High Hallelujahs to His name.
Beyond the grave in nobler strains,
When freed from sorrow, sin, and pain,
Eternally the Church will raise
High Hallelujahs to His praise.
